PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT SUPPORT (60-80%)

We are looking for a highly motivated Entry-Level candidate (0-2 years work experience). The role is initially be based in Balzers (Liechtenstein). Upon receipt of the required license by FINMA, the employment will be transferred to Zurich (Switzerland), where the position continues on a long-term basis.

 

Your main focus areas and activities

  • Portfolio Management: Independently implement investment decisions across all client portfolios incl. portfolio management, cash management, and execution to algin portfolios with its strategy. Maintain our model portfolios, monitor and execute FX Hedging; and prepare investment proposals for clients.
  • Investment Governance: Support the investment process and investment committee meetings to maintain good governance of investment decisions, prepare performance and peer-group reviews, and prepare internal & external presentation material in relation to investment decisions.
  • Investment Compliance: Ongoing monitoring of investment- & portfolio compliance for all client mandates & funds, manage our post-investment compliance and best execution controls.
  • Operations: Calculate management fees and supervise invoicing, distribute regular client reporting, maintain our Fund Database, maintain good quality of systems (PMS) & data; and supervise portfolio reconciliation.
  • Marketing: Support the team in the creation and/or maintenance of marketing material, product factsheets and presentations for clients.
  • Projects: Support ongoing project in the development of our service and product offering.
  • Research Support: Support Senior Portfolio Managers with investment research and product selection. 

 

Your skills & qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Student in banking & finance and/or business administration. Prior first work experience is a plus.
  • A keen interest in the Wealth- and Asset Management industry, willing to understand and drive value in Middle Office related areas of the value chain.
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Detail oriented, structured, independent and well-organized working style.
  • Understanding of the Fund Industry is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written), German is a plus.
